A ground effect vehicle (also known as GEVs, ekranoplan, airfish, or flarecraft) is a craft that travels in ground effect. These craft primarily bank on the better fuel economy in this flight regime. Ground effect is the phenomenon encountered when an aircraft is one wingspan from the ground or lower. This leads to less drag and more lift, often leading to floating. These craft can be made in paper form.

Paper Ground Effect Vehicles Edit

Two examples of paper ground effect vehicles are posted online at These craft were designed by SDFGeoff as the GEV I and GEV II.
