The OAE D174-1 Super Hornet is a small, fast drone paper airplane designed by OrigamiAirEnterprises to replace the OAE D158-1 Stinger. The Super Hornet was a rather conservative effort to replace the Stinger, retaining the Skybolt's fuselage, minus the spars.
Construction[]
Construction details of the Super Hornet can be found here.
Performance[]
The Super Hornet is a fairly simple but good performer. With proper construction and launch, the Super Hornet can fly over 25 feet easily. Additional surfaces applicable to the Super Hornet include flaps, ailerons, flaperons, slats, and air brakes.
