The OAE D254-1 SkyGnat is a small, fast, long range paper airplane designed by OrigamiAirEnterprises to replace the aging OAE D194-1 Gnat. Between the two, only the wing is common. To make operations easier, the SkyGnat is equipped with horizontal stabilizers, surfaces not found on the D194-1. Although the SkyGnat was released 7 months after the Gnat, the D254-1 has surpassed the D194-1 in viewership--becoming OrigamiAirEnterprises' most popular drone interceptor.

Construction details of the SkyGnat can be found here.

The SkyGnat is very quick and can fly quite far. Launches at moderate to high speed at neutral or negative attitudes will give the aircraft its best possible speed and range performance. Launches can be done at a positive attitude, but launch speed should be faster (range may be reduced). Additional applicable surfaces include slats, flaps, flaperons, elevators, ailerons, spoilers, spoilerons, air brakes and a trimmable rudder.
