The OAE F271-1 Sparrowhawk is a fast, long range paper airplane designed by OrigamiAirEnterprises. The F271-1 was developed to replace the "Zurqui" paper airplane after OrigamiAirEnterprises identified key weaknesses in its design and sought to eliminate them. Unlike the Zurqui, the Sparrowhawk's design features fixed landing skids; a strenghened tail and an overall sturdier airframe. Each of these design aspects improve performance in several flight regimes.

Construction details of the Sparrowhawk can be found here.

The F271-1 can fly quite quickly and fly long distances. Ground handling is excellent due to the skids and tail. Launch should be at medium or fast speed at negative or neutral attitudes; for positive attitude launches, add more speed. Additional applicable surfaces include slats, flaps, flaperons, elevators, ailerons, elevons, spoilers, spoilerons, rudders and air brakes.
