The OAE TF7-1 Eaglet is a fast, long range interceptor paper airplane that can also serve as an advanced trainer. The Eaglet was designed by OrigamiAirEnterprises to replace the OAE TF8-1 Mentor in the advanced trainer role with a simpler, more versatile airframe. So versatile was the Eaglet's airframe that it was able to be developed into a multirole aircraft, the OAE F266-1 StratoEagle.
Construction[]
Construction details of the Eaglet can be found here.
Performance[]
The TF7-1 is a simple aircraft to fly with simple requirements in both construction and flight. For a routine, slow training flight a moderate throw is necessary (though this can change if additional surfaces have been applied). For a fast flight, a quick throw is required. Additional applicable surfaces include flaps, slats, elevators, ailerons, elevons, air brakes, and rudders.
